Turin, 4 May (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner arrived in Rome at 2.40 pm on a private jet that landed at Ciampino. The world No. 1, who yesterday won the Madrid Masters 1000 and is set to compete in the BNL Italian Open, travelled with his family and his two coaches, Vagnozzi and Cahill. Wearing a dark cap, a white jacket and jumper, blue trousers and orange trainers, Sinner was greeted on arrival by a dozen or so fans and immediately got into one of the four cars in the convoy, heading towards the centre of the capital. Sinner has played 20 matches in the main draw at the BNL Italian Open, with a record of 14 wins and six defeats. His first appearance in the main draw of the BNL Italian Open dates back to 2019 when, ranked No. 263 in the ATP rankings, he earned a wild card through the pre-qualifying tournament, beating Lorenzo Musetti in the decisive match.
