Turin, 5 May (LaPresse) – "In one of my first interviews in Udine, I was asked what my goals were for the season and I said: “To get back to being myself and enjoy playing football”. When you manage that, the performances come naturally, because if your head is in the right place, you perform better. In recent years I’ve had various problems and haven’t shown my quality, but your worth isn’t lost. You need to be lucky enough to find an environment like Udine’s to be able to show it again. Here I feel everyone’s trust, which is the foundation; then come the daily work, making yourself available to the team, fitting into the system, and so on.” Nicolò Zaniolo opens up in an interview with ‘Udinese Tonight’, taking stock of his season in Friuli. The chat begins with Udinese v Torino and the poignant commemoration of the earthquake, in which the players also took part with great emotion: “We were all aware of the significance of the earthquake anniversary. General Manager Collavino came to explain everything to us a few days before the match. We really wanted to win, even more so to mark this occasion,‘ he emphasised. ’It was a wonderful day; picking up three points is always great, and we wanted to celebrate together because Udine and Friuli deserve it."
