Milan, 14 May (LaPresse) – "Following the Regional Administrative Court’s call for the parties to reach an agreement, the Prefect and the Chief of Police of Rome have accepted the Serie A Football League’s proposal to hold the Roma-Lazio derby on Sunday 17 May at 12 noon at the Stadio Olimpico. The agreement was reached in the spirit of the established collaboration between the Serie A Football League and the Public Security Authorities, already demonstrated by the organisational success of the recent Coppa Italia final on 13 May at the Stadio Olimpico." This is stated in a note from the Serie A Football League following the agreement reached with the Prefecture of Rome to hold the capital’s derby on Sunday 17 May at 12 noon. The Lega Calcio Serie A ‘expresses its satisfaction with the spirit of collaboration and institutional responsibility that has made it possible to identify a shared solution – one the League had hoped for from the outset – which will allow for the optimal management of the arrival and departure of spectators for the Rome derby and the final of the Internazionali tennis tournament in the same area of the Foro Italico,’ the statement continues.
