Milan, 18 May (LaPresse) – Following in the footsteps of Pellegrino and Travaglia, Marco Cecchinato has also reached the second round of the Roland Garros qualifiers. The veteran from Palermo, who has previously reached the semi-finals in Paris, beat Dutchman Max Houkes 7-6(5), 6-2 in the first round. In the women’s draw, Martina Trevisan made a positive start, beating Czech Gabriela Knutson 2-6, 6-0, 6-2.
