Washington (USA), 21 April (LaPresse) – The US armed forces will no longer require troops to undergo annual flu vaccinations. This was announced by Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, who revoked what he described as an “overly broad” mandate. Hegseth clarified that, under the new directive, soldiers will have the option to be vaccinated if they believe it is in their best interests. ‘However, we will not force you, as your body, your faith and your beliefs are not up for negotiation,’ he said.
