Brussels, 20 April (LaPresse) – "In light of recent developments, the Cypriot Presidency of the EU Council has included on the agenda for the Coreper II meeting on Wednesday 22 April, as a non-discussion item, the amendment to the Multiannual Financial Framework Regulation, the final step required to enable the disbursement of the €90 billion loan to Ukraine. Once approved by the Committee of Permanent Representatives, a written procedure will be initiated for its final adoption.” This was reported by a spokesperson for the Cypriot Presidency. Today, the flow of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline is expected to resume, and outgoing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is expected to withdraw his veto on the release of funds to Kyiv.
