Frankfurt (Germany), 27 Apr. (LaPresse) – The German ambassador to Moscow, Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to his press office. Lambsdorff is due to appear this morning over alleged contacts between German politicians and terrorist organisations, his spokesperson told Dpa, as reported by Die Zeit. The details of the accusations are not yet known. "Of course I will attend the summons. I consider it unlikely that the Russian side will be able to substantiate its allegations," Lambsdorff said in advance, according to his spokesperson. Further information will be provided after the meeting at the ministry. Lambsdorff has been German ambassador to Russia since 2023. He previously served as a member of the European Parliament and as a member of the Bundestag for the FDP.
