Washington (USA), 28 May (LaPresse) – Donald Trump has refiled his defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal, seeking $10 billion in damages over the newspaper’s coverage of his alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein. The previous lawsuit had been dismissed by a judge on procedural grounds. The legal action, filed on Wednesday, alleges that the newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch damaged the president’s reputation by publishing an article describing a greeting card for the former financier as bearing Trump’s signature. The president and his lawyers have maintained that the card was a forgery, even after it was made public as part of the declassification of confidential documents relating to the Epstein affair.
