Lebanon: UNIFIL – one peacekeeper killed and two wounded in the south

Milan, 4 June (LaPresse) – A UNIFIL peacekeeper died this morning from serious injuries sustained when mortar rounds struck his position near Marjayoun, in south-eastern Lebanon, last night. UNIFIL reported this, adding that two other peacekeepers were wounded and are currently receiving treatment at a medical facility within the UNIFIL base.
