Washington (USA), 5 June (LaPresse) – President Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, travelled yesterday to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee for consultations with a team of technical experts who could play a role in the nuclear negotiations with Iran. This was reported by Axios. “This meeting in Oak Ridge does not mean that an agreement will be reached, but it is a sign that the negotiations are at a very serious stage and that there is a good chance of reaching an understanding, and we want to be prepared,” said a US official quoted by Axios. Some of the US’s leading experts in uranium processing and centrifuge technology are based at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 National Security Complex.
