Milan, 13 June (LaPresse) – According to reports from the Israeli police, an Israeli settler shot and wounded a Palestinian who had threatened him with a stone. The man reportedly arrived at an isolated farm near the village of Douma, in the northern West Bank, “already armed with a large stone and began behaving in a strange and suspicious manner, and at a certain point…”, the police reported, adding that at that point, the settler felt threatened and fired, “neutralising” the man. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa, citing Red Crescent medics, reported that the man, aged 29, suffers from a mental disability and was hit by bullets in the stomach and a leg.
