Rome, 18 October (LaPresse) – Novak Djokovic has equalled the record for the most qualifications for the Nitto ATP Finals, joining Roger Federer on 18. The Serbian's qualification for the 2025 Finals was confirmed on Saturday, when the draw for the ATP 500 tournaments in Basel and Vienna was announced. Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are therefore the three players already qualified for the singles in Turin. The most important moment of the Serbian's season came in Geneva, where he won his 100th title on the major circuit, becoming only the third man in the Open Era to reach this milestone alongside Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103). Djokovic has also been a constant presence in Grand Slam tournaments, reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. This is the seventh time he has reached at least the semi-finals in all four majors in the same year. The 38-year-old also played in a Masters 1000 final in Miami and a semi-final in Shanghai.
