Paris, Mar. 3 (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle will be deployed to the Mediterranean Sea. France “has shot down drones in self‑defense, from the earliest hours of the conflict, to protect the airspace of our allies,” he explained in a televised speech. Macron also announced the recent deployment of Rafale fighter jets, air defense systems, and the sending of the frigate Languedoc.
