Milan, 19 October (LaPresse) – "It was a really tough race for many reasons. We complicated things a bit over the weekend by starting 10th, and the fever last night didn't help, but we had to push. To have a race like this and finish on the podium is special; it's definitely my best GP of the year." This is how Fabio Di Giannantonio, VR46 Team rider, commented on Sky Sport on his 2nd place in the MotoGP Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island. On the difficulties of the season: ‘Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. You get on the track and you can't go fast. These things are difficult to explain. We are human, and when you don't feel right, you either crash or you slow down. I hope to find the front end I had here for the rest of the season.’
