Rome, 20 October (LaPresse) – ‘How is it possible to die like this, while returning home after a basketball game?’ This is the question posed by the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodi, on X, following the attack on the coach carrying Estra Pistoia basketball fans after their match against Rieti in the Lazio capital and the subsequent death of the driver. ‘The attack perpetrated this evening near Rieti by thugs who turned into murderers and can never be called fans is shocking. Sport is life, and these criminals are not,’ Abodi concluded.
