Roma, May 3 (LaPresse) – Juventus' Champions League race has been severely hampered, as they failed to make it 1-1 at home to relegated Verona, missing out on third place over Milan, who are stuck on 67 points. Veneti took the lead through Bowie in the 34th minute (Bradaric turned for the Scottish striker who, finding himself unmarked in the area, fired first-time through Di Gregorio into the bottom left corner). In the second half, Vlahovic found the score with a clever free kick (a curling shot into the bottom corner). Juventus forced a late push with Zhegrova hitting the right post from inside the box. Juventus remains in fourth place with 65 points, three ahead of Como and four ahead of Roma, who play tomorrow night against Fiorentina.
