Rome, 12 May (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner reaches the quarter-finals of the Internazionali. The Italian won the all-Italian clash against Andrea Pellegrino with a score of 6-2, 6-3 in one hour and 28 minutes. The Italian will face the winner of the match between Russia’s Andrey Rublev and Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili for a place in the semi-finals. Sinner wins his 19th consecutive match and, with this victory, joins Novak Djokovic on 31 consecutive wins (62-2 in sets) in a 1000-level tournament, his 14th in a row on clay.
