Milan, 4 June (LaPresse) – A boat carrying 49 people is adrift in the central Mediterranean. Alarm Phone reported this on X, explaining that it had received “a call from a group that had fled Libya but had run out of fuel in the Maltese search and rescue zone”. ‘The boat has been adrift for hours. The authorities have been informed. These people need to be rescued immediately,’ adds Alarm Phone.
