Turin, 12 June (LaPresse) – ‘Peace has never been as close as it is now.’ This is what Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrote on X. ‘Amid Pakistan’s ongoing intensive mediation efforts, we are fully aware of the ongoing disinformation campaign being waged by those who wish to sabotage the peace agreement,’ he explains. ‘Putting the noise aside, we can confirm that a final agreed text of the peace agreement has been reached and that Pakistan is now working closely with both parties to define the next steps,’ he emphasised.
