Turin, 12 June (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV will travel from Tenerife to Rome on board the Falcon jet that King Felipe VI was due to use. The Spanish Air Force will send another aircraft to the Canary Islands for the king. This is according to reports in the Spanish press. Iberia has reported a technical problem with the aircraft that was due to take the Pope back to the Vatican from Tenerife airport and has announced that it will send another aircraft from Madrid for the Holy See staff and journalists who were due to travel with the Pontiff.
