Milan, May 8 (LaPresse) – “It’s my fault, I told him to keep the receipt, I ruined Andrea’s life… I ruined his life.” These were the words, captured in a wiretap and spoken in tears, by the mother of Andrea Sempio, Daniela Ferrari, in a car with her husband, Giuseppe Sempio, who tries to reassure her: “What are you saying? Anyone would have kept it, if you keep all the receipts in the world… don’t start again… stay calm…”
According to the investigation documents from the Prosecutor’s Office of Procura di Pavia together with the Milan Carabinieri investigative unit, on 22 October 2025 the couple is discussing a supposed new “super-witness” in the Garlasco murder case that had emerged in the media in those days and that would contradict Andrea Sempio’s version that he personally made the parking validation at 10:18 a.m. in Vigevano on the morning of Chiara Poggi’s murder.
“So now there is a relative who says that neither Andrea nor his family members made the receipt!” says the woman. “How could he have it?” replies the husband, laughing. “Did he give it to him? Who gave it to him? The question to ask is that one… well… exaggerating things that are nonsense, because in any case you made the receipt (sigh), according to him, he said you didn’t make it, the son didn’t make it, I didn’t make it, and so what! Someone else must have made it! That one! Or he gave it to his son! Madness… what a bunch of diabolical people… the receipt… it’s documented! Fine! Show me! Incredible! A witness! Witnesses appear like…”
“At Garlasco there are more witnesses than inhabitants,” replies the mother of the suspect.
