Rome, 8 May (LaPresse) – The preliminary hearing judge in Rome has rejected all requests to exclude the civil defendants (the Policlinico Umberto I hospital and two insurance companies), who remain part of the trial in the Purgatori case. At the hearing concerning the investigation into the journalist’s death, which occurred following several admissions to private clinics, the judge ordered the indictment of the accused doctors. The hearing is scheduled for 5 June.
