Rome, May 8 (LaPresse) – Tensions ran high this afternoon in Venice, where clashes broke out between state police and protesters during a pro-Palestine march. The march was organized in protest of Israel’s pavilion at the event. The pro-Palestine demonstrators attempted to march toward the entrance of the Biennale but were blocked by officers in riot gear.
